A Holy Cross
ministry dedicated to feeding the homeless and needy in the Atlanta area.
This is an all-volunteer non-profit ministry funded by the generosity of Holy
Cross parishioners and the annual “Street People’s Show”. New volunteers

This ministry’s mission is
to increase understanding and awareness of HIV/AIDS through service and
education and to help preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life of
persons and families affected by this disease. Volunteers strive to
educate themselves and the parish community, provide direct services to people
with HIV/AIDS and sponsor drives to collect goods for those affected by the
disease. Meetings are at 7:30p.m. on the first Monday of the month on a

Members take meals to
families with a new baby or to those who are experiencing illness or other

Volunteers deliver meals to
homebound persons between 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. Holy Cross delivers only on

Holy Cross volunteers
rotate with other area churches to provide emergency food to residents in the
greater Atlanta area. The pantry is open Mon, Wed & Fri, 10am-2pm year round in
the Tucker Recreation Center. Volunteers may choose times & dates to work

This ministry’s purpose is to
provide leadership and education on Respect Life issues. The Candle of Innocence
burns for a week on the Blessed Mother’s Altar in the Chapel for personal
intentions. Proceeds from the Candle of Innocence and Respect Life Gift Shop go

Our parish’s St. Vincent
de Paul Conference provides financial assistance and counseling through the
generosity of the parishioners who contribute to the monthly collection.
Vincentians make home visits and assess each case individually. SVDP
ministers to those persons in the Northlake, Tucker, Norcross-Doraville areas.

Each one of us goes through
life challenges... Having someone to listen, understand and accept our feelings
helps ease the stress, confusion, grief, pain or sense of isolation during these
periods in life. A Stephen Minister is trained to be a caring Christian friend

Drive parishioners to
doctors, dentists, opticians, hospitals, nursing homes and other providers of

: Holy Cross is the
Catholic member in an ecumenical group of churches representing a variety of
Christian denominations that strive to provide a witness of Christian unity.
This is done through periodic communal worship at Thanksgiving, Holy Week and
Pentecost. The group also has established a co-operative Christian
ministry for the less fortunate among us, called NETWorks. If you are
