NEW MINISTRY! The Service Support Ministry is new to Holy Cross, and we invite ALL parishioners - youth and adults - to participate. The first weekend of each month we will collect items to put in “Care Packages” for members of the armed forces serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.

Original Dinner Club... There will be a Kickoff Party Aug. 31st at the home of Cal and Millie Sandman, 3480 Greystone Circle. Four or five couples take turns hosting monthly Potluck Dinners. Our Baptismal Preparation Class for English-speaking parents... will be held on Saturday, September 27th. To register or for more information, please call Jean at 770-939-3501. These classes are only held every few months, so don’t miss this opportunity!

Fall/Winter Young Marrieds’ Supper Club: Groups of four couples will meet at each other’s homes to share food and fellowship, and a fun night out without the kids on several Friday or Saturday nights during September - January. “SOUTH PACIFIC” Save the dates...the 25th annual Street People Show will be early this next year - January, 2009. The weekends for the show are January 23-25 and January 30, 31 & February 1 for the final Matinee.  Auditions will be the first weekend in October. A sign-up board will be in the Gathering Area of the Church in mid-September. All interested in helping out behind the scenes or in front are welcome to contact Gail Goodman, 770-939-3501, ext. 228. We always welcome new crew people, actors, helpers, etc. Come be a part of this classic musical - winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Broadway’s Best Musical Revival...(that’s this year, folks!).
