Holy Cross Parish Council Minutes

May 13, 2008

Present: Sam Beale, Kathy Geroski, Fr. Patrick, Adrian Law, Jim Miles, Cass Catroppa, Gabriela Probst, Angie Pavon, Helen Homrich

The meeting was opened with a prayer.

There was a correction to the minutes of April 8^th.  Members absent were Jim Moleta, Helen Homrich, Adrian Law and Gabriela Probst.  Minutes were approved as revised.

• Old Business:  Gabriela asked about SVDP having an on site person to receive calls and walk-ins.  Bert Steele spoke with Cass earlier in the week and stated that it is not feasible since they don’t have anyone to make that commitment.

• Committee Reports:

          Stewardship – Adrian Law agreed to be contact person for Stewardship.

• New Business:

Theresa needs backup assistance for the Faith Matters newsletter.  Adrian volunteered to help.  Members rolling off this year are:  Gabriela, Jim, Helen, Kris, Angie.  These members will constitute the nominating committee.  Names must be submitted by August 1^st.  Angie will be the contact person for the Hispanic Bulletin Announcement.  Yvonne Torres will not be able to attend the meetings so she is no longer a candidate for nomination.  Gabriela will take charge of the bulletin announcement and will be the contact for the Engli
